What information we collect about you

In order to use the Service, you have to complete registration procedure, giving us information for example: email address, login, password and the username (generally not required). While you use the interface, we automatically receive information like your IP address, operating system, details about the browser, screen resolution, information collected through cookies and other technologies, the date and time of your visit, and the web page you have visited immediately prior to visiting our Site and information about your use of our interface.

What is the legal basis of data processing?

First and foremost, we process data that is necessary for us to perform our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Secondly, we process data to meet our obligations under the law (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) — this primarily involves financial data and information that we need to meet our accountability obligations under the GDPR. Thirdly, we process your personal data for our legitimate interests in line with GDPR Article 6(1)(f). What are these ‘legitimate interests’ we talk about?

  • Making sure that your data and Gemius systems are safe and secure.

When we share your information

Your personal data of the User, such as the email address, shall not be disclosed to third parties in any way. The User’s login, email address and/or Username (if given) shall only be available for our technical support workers, in order to ensure the quality of Services or improve it or provide technical and accounting support. Your password is unavailable to us.

Your data can be shared to other companies of Gemius Group, always on an confidential basis and in accordance with the processing purposes.  Data will be processed until the expiration of our contract and claims period, unless EU or EU Member State law requires storage of this data.

How we use the information stored on your device

We use cookie and local storage files in order to improve the quality of our Services (ex. to identify the most commonly used functions), as well as to register your preferences and adjust the interface to better match them. How we use your email address

We can contact you in order to inform you about important changes to the Services you use (like Service improvements or new features) and/or to provide you with Gemius technical support. We will not use your email for marketing or promotional purposes without your prior consent. We can sent automatic emails about events concerning the projects that you are involved in (possibility applicable in some Services). In order to receive marketing or promotional contents, you have to adjust the settings of your Account (applicable in some Services).

Information security

You should protect your password because you are entirely responsible for your (and third parties) activities undertaken within the Account (i.e. with the use of your login data). You should inform us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access of his Account. We limit the access to your personal data (such as your email) to our employees, partners and agents, entitled to access these data. Our staff is obliged to confidentiality and shall be held liable for negligence in performing its duties and shall be subject to penalties, including termination of the contract and punitive sanctions.

Access to the information

To request access to personal information that we hold about you, we require you to submit your request in writing at the e-mail address or postal address of our technical support.

As the controller for your personal data, Gemius is committed to respect all your rights under the GDPR. Please contact us if you want to see any personal data stored about you in our records or if you think that any of the personal data collected through our interface is incorrect, confusing or incomplete. You may also ask us restrict your personal data and you may tell us if you object to our use of your personal data. You may also lodge a formal complaint with your competent data protection authority, If you consider that we are not complying with this privacy notice.

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Please take a look at the “Effective Date” legend at the top of this page to see when this Privacy Policy was last revised. We will inform you about vital changes to this Policy by your email. Your use of the interface following the changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
