In July 2017, four out of every 10 Internet users in Romania were exposed to online commercial spots for cosmetics brands on Facebook.com. Thanks to the gemiusAdRealTM study we know that in total, ads promoting personal care and hygiene products were displayed 24 million times to the Romanian users.

In July, online ads of personal care products in Ukraine were viewed nearly 78 million times. Nivea was the leader among the advertised brands and YouTube.com was the leading publisher.

Beer is the most heavily promoted beverage in terms of online video ads. Frothy lagers ads were displayed to Polish computer users 81.5 million times. Gemius data shows that among non-alcoholic beverage brands, the largest number of viewers was recorded for Tiger Energy Drink ads. Beverage and alcohol adverts reached the biggest number of internet users via Facebook.com.

For the third year in a row Gemius has won at the IAB Research Awards organised by the European online industry. The company was awarded the statuette for technology which provides comprehensive analysis of the online advertising market.

No-one in the German commercial sector has as many online video advert views as Ikea. Its creations are revealed in a Gemius study to have found an audience of 17.4 million internet users. This form of encouragement to buy is also used by hundreds of other retail firms, with their spots finding 42.9 per cent of online Germans.
